In 1982, a group of chemists in St. Louis, Missouri founded Nomax, Inc. with a clear mission: manufacture pharmaceutical-grade effervescent products with uncompromising quality. Their first major product was Effer-K — a potassium supplement prescribed by physicians to patients who needed reliable, effective, consistent potassium supplementation.
